Therefore, those seeking public sector information security jobs and vacancies in the industry can expect to be a part of a relaxed crowd for the foreseeable future. has conducted research that revealed how 58% of professionals feel outsourcing is either a neutral or positive topic within the I.T. industry in the public sector, as they believe that past issues have now been resolved. This is in spite of another figure which shows that 62 per cent of those very same professionals have observed a rise in outsourcing in the sector.

Website Director of CWJobs, Richard Nott, said:

“With more professionals now perceiving a low impact from outsourcing, the industry now needs to ensure it is reassuring those looking to enter the sector, in order to avoid losing out on potential new talent. The promotion of IT to younger generations is a wider issue, and the opinions found by CWJobs reinforce the importance of promoting the positive qualities of a career within the industry.”

A reason for a change of attitude towards the issue could be based on the statistic which shows that 87% of professionals in the public sector believe. This is a great advantage to them and can only go to increase their confidence when serving in their industry.
