Online video interviews to offer improved recruitment process

The South Wales-based software engineering firm Accelero Digital Solution has made the announcement that it has invested in Tazio – a platform for conducting digital interviews. This will be one of four current joint ventures, which is part of its goal to double its turnover during the next year and a half.

Tazio will see employers conduct interviews in the first round by employing the automated video software. The major advantages are that it will allow them to save substantially in money and time, offer an enhanced experience for the candidate and ensure fairness and consistency in the recruitment process. Employers will be allowed to pose an unlimited number of questions through video, text and audio. Candidates will be able to apply for jobs easily from email invites, social media, job boards and careers websites, so anyone looking for pen testing jobs, risk management vacancies and more could soon find that a new and improved interview process will be open to them. Employers will be able to relay and review responses.

The creator of Tazio, Tom Stroud, has been forming and developing tech-based businesses during the last decade. He said:

“Response to Tazio has been consistently positive with most recruiters believing it is a great idea and a significant benefit to them. However finding appropriate funding to take the business forward has been extremely difficult in the current business climate.”

He continued to say that the Accelero deal will allow the company to speed up its marketing efforts and that it has already received interest from a number of blue chip firms, including Vodafone and RBS.
